Throughout the Cooper Hewitt Museum field trip we have learned about the evolution of symbols over time and how they each had a different meaning during a certain time period. A example of this was the rising fist symbol. Originally it was used to represent  power, strength and union in one. But now as of recent times it was a part of the Black lives Matter movement. Although the meaning of a symbol changes does mean that symbol has to change. The evolution of the accessibility symbol was a change that properly appealed to all people with accessibility problems. Before the original design was of them in static with them not moving. But now you can tell the sign was given movement through the arms moving, the wheels turning and  the head moving with it. All these different feature form the new accessibility symbol. As for the Olympic sports they were made more simplified now then back then. Instead of it fully show the silhouette of the human performing the sport they own show what equipment will be done. Although I do feel that some of the older one where pretty good. Overall the trip was a lot of fun see the different way you can use or make symbols for change especially trying to make a symbol with our partner about a certain topic. The topic we choose was the Housing price. More specifically the price rising because of inflation and changes within our economy. We decide to make a house with an ever increase arrow going through part of the house because of the rise in money to own one. We can use this symbol in ads and commercial to spread the word of the on going issue that is not only occurring in the U.S but also in the whole world.
